Providing a clear account of our business activities direct to the Financial Conduct Authority, with half yearly auditing of accounts.
SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES
Winchester and District Young Carers is a local charity that helps young children between the ages of 8 and 17 who care for a parent or sibling with a long-term illness or disability. Their mission is to improve the lives of these children and young people by offering safe quality support to them and their family.
Through providing a weekly exploration program individuals are empowered with the skills and confidence to manage the challenges faced by being a young carer.
Their activities program offers time out to relax, have fun and meet others who are in a similar situation to themselves. We have supported the charity by Chris undertaking training to be a regular volunteer assisting with these weekly programs, and he also assists the Committee to offer his advice and experience in their fundraising activity.
We have currently raised over £25,000, for the charity, while also personally funding the development of their new website. You can find out more about this charity and the invaluable work they do by visiting the Winchester Young Carers website here.
